The legal bit

  • At any point during the first 90 days of your contract you can request to remain on the introductory price and change to a lower speed package after your initial three months.
  • We'll give you plenty of notice before you roll onto the higher price after your third month and try our best to make sure you're happy with the service you're receiving.
  • If we don't hear back from you requesting the lower-priced package it will be assumed that you are happy with the higher speed package, and will roll onto the non-introductory price automatically. You can change your package with Origin at any time.
  • Because the introductory price point for Fibre Max is £20.99 is for three months only, it will not be considered an "in-contract price rise" when this increases to £22.99.
  • Your average upload speed will be for Fibre Max: 9 Mbps
  • Average UK download and upload speeds are based on the average download and upload speeds available to at least 50% of customers between the peak hours of 8pm and 10pm
  • The content, terms and price of your contract may change at any time over the length of your minimum term. We'll let you know about any important changes in advance.
  • If you leave within your minimum term, early termination charges may be payable.
  • Prices may be higher for those living in some areas, up to a maximum of £25.99 for 'Origin Broadband' in high-cost areas. If you decide to move your services to a higher/ lower cost area during the minimum term of your contract, the original price of your contract may not be applicable and you may have to pay an increased/decreased fee for your broadband services. For more information on this, please see our terms of service or get in touch with our customer service team.
  • There is no delivery charge for your wireless hub and we supply it completely free of charge; we only ask that you return the device if you receive a replacement or ever decide to leave us. We will also cover any postage costs for the return of the hub, up to a maximum of £3.50. Please hang on to your postage receipt, as we can only process postage refunds once the delivery has been confirmed. In cases where the hub is not returned, a charge of £40.00 will be applied to your final bill to cover the cost of the hub.
  • We'll get in touch with you shortly before your contract expires with our latest deals and offers. If you choose not to enter into another contract or we don’t hear from you at least 30 days before your contract is due to expire, we'll place you on a rolling monthly contract at the standard rate for the service being provided to your property. This is to ensure that there is no gap in your broadband service, even if there is no fixed-term contract in place. The rates for rolling monthly contracts are subject to change, as there is no fixed-term agreement.
  • Regardless of which deal or contract you sign up to, while you are a customer of Origin you will be governed by our terms of service. You can view these terms of service, in full, here.
  • ☨ This package includes our 'Anytime calls' package. This means you can make unlimited inclusive calls to 01, 02, 03, 0845, 0870 numbers for up to 60 minutes each call. If a call exceeds 60 minutes you may incur extra call charges.
