The monthly prices for some of our products are being adjusted by November’s Consumer Price Index (CPI) + 3.9%.
Our broadband packages, monthly call plans, anonymous call reject, call barring, call diversion, choose to refuse and static IP.
Add-ons where we currently apply no charge such as, 1471, 1571, Caller ID, Caller Display and Withhold Number will remain free of charge. Pence per minute call charges are not affected. Our Supersaver (pay in advance) broadband packages are not affected. Origin TV prices are not affected.
As inflation causes the cost of running a business to increase, we reluctantly have to pass some of this cost on to our customers. We need to invest in new technology and our networks to continue to improve the services we provide. We work hard to keep our costs down so we can minimise the impact on our customers and this means that the majority of our customers will only see an impact of less than 5p per day to their broadband package.
We have invested in our national network and equipment to improve the overall performance of our network. We have continued to provide customer support as we moved our teams to work from home. We are introducing new systems to improve our customer services further. We are finalists in the European Contact Centre & Customer Service Awards. We have developed our Origin TV service for customers to enjoy at a low cost.
This takes affect from 1st March. If your package is affected, you will see your new payment amount on the bill you receive in February, which is due to be paid in March.
