Lost your WiFi password? Never fear, we'll get you surfing soon
Wire it up
Connect your router to a laptop or desktop computer on a wired Ethernet connection. If you don't have an Ethernet cable to hand then make sure to check your box, you should have received one when the router was delivered. If you can't find one there either, you can purchase one here.
Load it up
Now, we're going to load up your router's settings page. Open an internet browser such as Google Chrome or Internet Explorer. When that’s loaded, just type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar at the top and click enter. Next, you’ll be asked for a username and password. These will both be ‘admin’ unless they have been changed previously.
Change it up
Once the settings page is open, look to the right-hand side for the box labeled 'System status'. In the bar labeled 'WPA-PSK key', remove what is already in the bar and input the password you want to use for your WiFi. Once that's done, just click 'Apply' and you're good to go with your new WiFi password!
